Sue Tippett

Drawn to the industry in 2015 by her love of interacting with others, Sue Tippett is the definition of a “people person”. She relishes getting to know people and understanding how she can positively impact their lifestyles. In her short time in the field, Sue has been hard at work adding special training to her basic qualifications, becoming a Crossfit Level 1 Trainer, completing the Australian Institute of Kettlebells Level 1 Fundamentals of Kettlebells Training Course and learning at the feet of Ido Portal himself at the Movement X Workshop at Ninja Academy in February 2016.

Her varied experience as a trainer and student has developed her personal approach to training, which is based on reclaiming lost movements like the squat and overhead reach and having a good time doing it! Sue believes that time spent training and strengthening the body should have a positive effect on everyday life with a focus on longevity.

This is rooted in her personal history of chronic shoulder pain caused by heavy lifts with imbalances, which she was able to manage through the more functional approach to training espoused at Ninja Academy. It helped her realise there were different ways to train, without high intensity or maximum lifts, that still achieve results with consistent and controlled efforts. At the same time, she has developed a passion for creative movement patterns such as capoeira, locomotion and just generally exploring the limits of the human body.
